[Tron isn't entirely sure what to make of this cryptic message. He hasn't encountered this person before, but obviously they're familiar with Rinzler in some way.]
really? haha, i can't even imagine that. [lies. but only basic mass produced models shared the same face, though it's not uncommon to spot similar looking civilian units from time to time...]
something similar, but not quite. our little contingent's got a pretty wide variety... it's quite the eclectic mix!
...
worried?
you take after alan. but i guess i can't hold it against rinzler. guy's been through the wringer already.
a girl and another man. granted, it took a little bit to figure out what they were but there you have it. everyone seems chattier than rinzler at least!
that's a shame to hear... you'd think he was a little more well liked after the uproar that involuntary maintenance check caused. can you even call someone who has an audible error running at all times 'functioning properly'? seems suspect to me.
[he could write more. Bitter comments about the minor things that meant all the difference in the world... but he leaves it at that]
no. elsewhere, actually. i'm surprised they didn't decide to 'import' along with rinzler. then again, the ingress seems to have rather eclectic tastes!
i'll say.
it's good to hear that you've got a well written set of protocols. can't imagine how this conversation might go if it turned out you're as hysterical as half the people aboard this ship.
not quite right.
i'd rather not imagine it. the secondhand embarrassment would cause me to shutdown in horror. HAHAHA!!
[text;]
How do you know Rinzler?
[text;]
we were so alike after all.
[text;]
Alike? How so?
[text;]
that seems strangely complicated.
condolences about what happened recently though. looks like you were caught off guard about it too.
Re: [text;]
Many of us do, yes. And Rinzler and I were both written by the same User. Are you a program as well, then?
[Yep, definitely something off about a random condolence here.]
It was unexpected.

But I'm sure aspects of your world would be unimaginable for me or Rinzler as well.
[Worried isn't quite the word he'd use.]
Concerned about the direction events have taken.
Have you been in contact with Rinzler lately?
[text;]
what a good guy, worrying about that little troublemaker.
[it's hard to tell if he means that as an insult or affectionately. The truth was probably neither]
you could say that. we haven't really meshed well lately. disappointing, really
Re: [text;]
[He ignores the troublemaker comment in favor of moving on.]
He doesn't mesh well with most people. Is he functioning properly, though?

I think the uproar was more to do with the circumstances than Rinzler himself. And it was blown far out of proportion.
[text;]
i'll say.
